Back in February I went on my first travel writing assignment to the Dominican Republic to cover destination weddings. It was an amazing experience, and the fruits of my labor have paid off.  In August the new issue of Destination Ido hits the news stands with my article. I am excited to turn a new leaf in my photography career. Special thanks to Lina for being a part of this great experience. I am off to Colombia tomorrow to do it all again.

Viola and Dave are a fun loving couple, which can be seen in the photographs.  I met Dave through my sailing club, and we’ve been planning this shoot for almost a year. The couple was down for pretty much anything, and we made the best out of our time together. We ended up taking photos right next to my studio in Alameda, and then moved onto Oakland. In a very short period of time we covered 4 great locations. I am very happy for Dave and Viola and wish them the best.

Laura and Gabe had their ceremony at the Sausalito Presbyterian Church followed by the ceremony at the San Francisco Cliff House.  The Cliff House is an amazing venue, and its on my short list of venues to recommend to clients. From a photography perspective its a dream, since the amount of natural light later in the day is phenomenal. During the peak of the summer the light comes in well after 8pm.  The reception was great, and the beauty of the venue allowed us to split the portrait session into smaller ones sandwiched in between dinner and dancing.  It was a wonderful ceremony and a great reception. Masoud at the Cliff House is an amazing day of coordinator, and its always a pleasure working with him at this fantastic venue.

This Green Valley Country Club wedding took place on a hot summer day.  Its a perfect location for an intimate gathering, private, green and lovely.  The ceremony was short but sweet, and the family shots were a snap.  I had a really great time with Brenden and Miriam, getting some risky pool shots.  Big shout out to Jay from Quantum Music for providing some great music entertainment.

Just wanted to share these mouth watering food shots I did for Infusion Lounge in San Francisco.  The food really tastes as good as it looks, which is a great perk of these shoots.  Desiree Prada, the executive chef, did a fantastic job on the food and presentation.  The clients are happy and already started running an ad campaign using my images, first of which is in this month’s 7×7 Magazine.
