This was a really fun wedding to photograph, since I felt that I already knew most of the people at the wedding. Back in October I photographed Marjorie’s sister’s wedding, so the second time around I knew who everyone was. This wedding was a bit less hectic than Cindy’s. For one thing, the ceremony and reception both took place at the Palmdale Estates, which makes my job a whole lot easier. It was a beautiful outdoor setting put together by the creative planners at I-Romance. Even the venue coordinator was impressed with the setup. John from Fancy Wheelin took Marjorie to the ceremony site from the Best House. That added touch was worth it, and made the wedding even more special. The night flew by quickly, as everyone was having a great time. Marjorie serenaded Dan with a romantic performance of “You were meant for me” by Jewel to acoustic guitar. Seriously, it was better than the original. The night ended in dancing, and just like Cindy’s wedding there was no shortage of fun loving people celebrating the union of this beautiful couple.

I got a nice article published on Gene Kosoy Photography in the Bridebound Blog. The blog highlights local vendors, and has plans to launch a vendor directory service. I met with the editor over lunch and sent her my answers to some questions. I really like that she regurgitated my responses, since she is a much better writer then I am. For more wedding related articles, check out the Bridebound Blog.
