I spent this Valentines day with a great couple, Sarah and Eric. We’ve done an engagement shoot in the past, but I needed a couple for a commercial shoot at the Oakland Zoo, and they were up for the romantic activity. It was one of the coolest shoots I’ve ever done, and the access that we got from the zoo was nothing short of exceptional. The images are for the zoo to promote their wedding packages, and I was more than happy to take the job. We took some shots in front of their Snow building, and then moved into the Zoo. The employees brought out a snake and a ferret. They had names, but I forgot them. I tried to capture the great features of the park, as well as capture the romance between Sarah and Eric. Eric contacted me to get some head shots and body shots done for his modeling portfolio. We had a great shoot, with 3 looks and 3 locations including Oyster Point Marina and the Embarcadero. Hopefully Eric will get some modeling work soon.
Miguel made this great video from the engagement shots I sent him. It was a pleasant surprise to see my work put together in a slideshow. We had a great time during the shoot, and despite the rain (or because of it), the photos came out very beautiful and unique. Miguel used the “Umbrella” song covered by John Peter West. I use John’s music on my wedding photography site, More info on John West: http://www.johnpeterwest.com/
Although its best to see and feel the album, I think some photos will be nice to show what one looks like. This album is from Stephan’s and Lindsay’s wedding from May, 08. This album is leather bound, heavy and beautiful. It is 22 spreads, 44 pages with no cut down the middle. It comes wrapped in recycled pineapple leaves, just gorgeous…
Just got finished iwth a big interior photography job for Infusion Lounge. This one from the newest and hotest venue in San Francisco. They wanted to capture all the different features and looks of the wonderfull space, which cost over $4.5 million to remodel. The space is underneath the Hotel Fusion, a few blocks from Union Square.
