Miguel and Audrey were a great couple to work with. With Miguel, being a serious model it was easy to get the couple relaxed for the camera. The photos reflect my general shooting style of capturing the feelings that are already there. Even though it was raining that day, we decided to go through with the shoot anyway. We were all glad we did, since the images would not be as unique without the rain. I include engagement sessions in all my weddings in order to get acquainted with the couple. Come wedding day we are all relaxed and have a great connection, which is vital for capturing breath taking images.

So, its been a while since I updated my blog even though I’ve been involved in a few affairs. This particular project I am doing the photoshop work only with the images shot by a different photographer. The idea behind the calendar is to combine photographic images with painted scenes to create a modern pinup look. The backgrounds were painted by my good friend Debi Tounge, These are not finished quite yet, but pretty close to the final product. The photographer used a green screen and I just combined the images in PS. It turned out to be a lot of work to make the final image look believable and not like a cardboard cut out. I have a few more to go, but that will be after I get back from India.

Ok, so I have not written for a while, that’s because I’ve been doing shoots and getting down with photoshop. I had another shoot with Pamela, this time with a make up artist at the Rock-it Room in San Francisco. The owner of the venue is a cool guy named Marco, and he was nice enough to let us do a professional photo shoot at his venue. The make up artist, Lauren Warner is awesome, and I had the pleasure of working with her on the Mouth to Mouth Shoot a year ago. For this shoot we went with the more rock and roll approach and so far in the post, its looking like what’s intended.  Here are a few shots:

I got a call from a record label to get some promo shots for an awesome singer/musician, Pamela Carter. Not only is she good looking, but her music and voice are great too. I got to enjoy the guitar during the shoot, which was a nice touch. We decided to go to a farm I have access to, and then a quick pit stop at my studio, all in a day’s work. Last Friday I had a shoot with Jessica Rae, of Desired Temptations. It was a fun shoot, but since we both had to be at the same party later that night it was a fast moving shoot.
